Social Case work

 social case work known as a primary method of social work. It is concerned with the   adjustment and development of people towards more satisfying relations in numerous   situation. It follows a scientific approach to check and diagnose the client's problem.

 social case work has been defined by different social scientists from   different aspects  

 According to warner Boehm:

 "social case work is method of social work which intervenes within the psycho social aspects of an individual's life to improve restore maintain and enhance his social functioning by improving his role performance."

According to Safrad:

"social case work is a method employed by a caseworker to assist individual and to search out an answer of their problem of social adjustment which they are unable to handle in a very satisfactory way by their own efforts."

 Mary Richmond 

says that "social case work could also be defined because the art of doing different thing with different people cooperating with them to achieve some of their own and society's betterment.

     There are some objectives of social case work. 

     These are as follow.

 1. To form good rapport with the common people

 2.  To seek out out and understand and solve the interior problem of the individuals   

 3.  To strengthen one's ego power

 4.  To stop problem and

 5. to develop internal resources social case work has its nature. 

 6.  it's capacity building

 7.  it's more adjustment within the society and

 8.  in social case work relationship needs outside help about the weather of social   case work.

 

Helen Harris-Perlman 

says that a person with an issue involves an area where an expert representative helps him by a given process it is called the five-piece theory

According to this definition there are five elements of social case work these are

 person

 problem

 place

 professional representative and 

 process

 person somebody is not someone in social case work practice. The person could be a man women child or anyone with social psychological and economical problems. who finds or needs some help and assistance in his social living. This person is understood as a client when an individual fail or cannot address his problems through his own effort and seeks social workers assistance is considered as a client problem. problem may be a situation which arises from man's surrounding obstacle and has attacked the adequacy of his efforts to figure effectively.

 According to Hussain and Ayla-din 

problem in social case work means a stressful situation which has threatened or disturbed the traditional functioning of the client.

 problem is also of two conditions like number one

intrapersonal problem

 intrapersonal problem is that the situation which affects just one man and impact of things is being felt by only one particular man and number two interpersonal problem is that the situation which affects two or over individuals or a bunch problem of person may be social psychological physical economical and etc. such problems of the client originate from following sources number 

1. economic dislocation 

2. social dislocation

3. economic mail adjustment 

4.  social mail adjustment 

5. interpersonal conflict 

6.  intra-familiar conflict 

7. personality disturbance place.

 Place refers to the agency through which the professional case worker helps the client in his social functioning

 According to Hussein and Ayla-din 

a social case worker agency is an organized institution which renders services materials or non-materials for the solution of their problems the agency is created into two number one public agency refers to those agency which is pass the state help and number two private agency.  private agency refers to those agency which is pass the voluntary contribution and aid from the state.
